Your data. Your guests' data.
The short version: this website doesn't track you, and a venue's guest list belongs to the venue. We never sell or share it.

This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no ad trackers, no sign-up forms.
- The “Find your fit” questions run in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent unless you choose to send your answers, which opens your own email app with a message to Josh Green.
- Like any website, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
When you book a call, email or call us
We use what you send (your name, venue, email, phone and your message, including what you type when you book a call) to reply, give you a quote and work with you. Our email and booking page run on Google Workspace. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details.
Venues we work with
When a venue uses our ordering system or marketing, the venue owns its guest list and order data. We handle that data only as the venue's service provider, to run, support, secure and improve the service for that venue, or when the law requires it.
- We never sell guest data, never use it to market anyone else's products, never contact a venue's guests for our own purposes, and never combine one venue's guests with another's.
- A venue can export its guest list as a spreadsheet at any time.
- When a venue leaves, we delete its guest data within 30 days of the final export, or within 60 days if no export is requested. Routine backups roll off on the provider's schedule, and records the law requires us to keep (such as invoices) are kept.
- If we learn of unauthorized access to a venue's guest data, we tell the venue within 72 hours of confirming it.
- We may use combined numbers that identify no guest (for example, “average order size rose”) to improve the service. We never name a venue or publish its results without its approval.
Guests ordering at a venue
Each venue's ordering page links to its own privacy notice, which explains what is collected when you order and pay. In brief:
- Your email is used to send your receipt. Giving it doesn't sign you up for marketing.
- You get marketing emails only if you tick an opt-in box, which starts unticked and is never required to order. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- You get marketing texts only if you tick a separate text box and then confirm by text. Reply STOP to any text and they stop.
- Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
These companies run parts of the ordering system. Each gets only what it needs to do its job.
| Stripe | Card payments. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our server. |
| Supabase | The database that holds orders and each venue's guest list. |
| Vercel | Hosts the ordering pages. Its logs record each request, including IP address. |
| Resend | Sends receipt emails. |
| Upstash | Limits repeated requests to protect checkout. Keeps IP addresses for a short time. |
Marketing texts go through a text-message provider, which receives only the phone numbers of guests who opted in to texts and the message itself. We'll tell each venue before adding a provider that receives guest data. Ember & Oak, our live demo, is a fictional venue running in test mode.
Marketing-only clients
When we run campaigns on a venue's existing list, the venue confirms in writing that the people on it agreed to get its emails or texts. We never buy, rent or scrape lists. The venue is the sender of its marketing, and every unsubscribe and STOP is honored.
Children
Our website and ordering pages are not directed to children under 13.
Questions, access or deletion
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email josh@cleartabledigital.com or call (224) 565-4555. If you ordered at a venue, we pass your request to that venue and carry out its instructions. Some records, such as payment and tax records, may have to be kept by law.
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. We won't apply a less protective change to data already collected without consent.
